28 Broad Street

nameless... but not homeless

Hurrah hurray!! We've finally completed on the purchase of our new offices and we're now itching to move in before Christmas.

We've been waiting months for this and an angsty time it has been too... We owe a lot to the fab folks down at the Alliance and Leicester (Jim Dumbrell and Iain Clarke - we owe them money and they know where we live), Bartons Solicitors (Phillip Albery - patience of a saint!), Colliers CRE (Paul Williams & Stephen Lipfriend - sane and wise in the face of a mad and stupid property market) and Eamonn Connaughton (a six foot leprechaun who can make your wishes come true!).

Our new address is 28 Broad Street in central Bristol in one of the oldest parts of the city. Our building is Grade II listed, constructed in the swinging 1730s, bombed to hell during the war and then rebuilt shortly afterwards. No ghostly activity has been recorded as yet but we're sure there will be plenty of drinking solicitor spirits around as the place used to be both a legal chamber and a pub.

Rachel is doing a great job project managing the building works, and Bagpuss and his little mice friends have already descended on the place to sort it out for us (they said they'd fix it but the singing is driving us mad). Sadly the secret bat cave will have to wait till phase 4 but the laser and electrified window security system is coming along nicely.

We'll be having a studio-warming party so get your paint brushes ready...
