CEO: Jaya Chakrabarti

Coding on Commodore 64s and BBC micros since she was eight, Jaya rebelled against her planned medical career and chose physics instead, which brought her to Bristol University. Two and a half degrees later Jaya found herself ditching her PhD (polymers in case you were wondering) and starting nameless instead. Since then, Jaya has worked with some pretty big names, including Orange, the NHS, Channel 4, British Airways and Virgin, but she's also been privileged to work with some equally amazing entrepreneurs with bags of integrity and vision.

A self-confessed geek girl, Jaya is able to blend her techie knowhow with her marketing skills to advise her clients on everything from social media through to semantic web. After hours, Jaya serves on the Watershed Council of Management, and has served on the Learning and Skills Council as a non-executive director for the West of England until it was replaced by the Skills Funding Agency and the Young People's Learning Agency. Having been involved in many city- and nation-wide education and technology initiatives to help bridge the digital divide with Connecting Bristol and DC10plus, her latest exploits now include becoming a BBC radio business news reviewer and campaigning for a real debate on an elected mayor for Bristol.
