The challenge
The world of fundraising is a highly competitive place. To stay ahead of the game requires constant innovation. When Cancer Research's Innovation Team came to us to help them conceptualise new methods of digital fundraising we had to put on our rather fetching thinking caps and apply some ‘blue sky’ thinking. That's marketing speak for we helped them to hone the best ideas and progress them to the point where they could sell them in to the Innovations Board to get full funding support.
Our approach
We ran a number of consultative workshops with the Innovations Team to help draw out the best options from the large number of ideas that they already had sketched. We applied our digital and social media know-how to help critique the ideas and test them for probable effectiveness and we brought the ideas to life in the visuals you can see below to help the team sell-in the ideas for final funding.
The results
The end results were so convincing that their Innovations Board were persuaded to release the funds for nearly all of them to be developed into full blown sites. Proof that creativity in the digital space can help to solve real world problems.
